Launching the Plugin

Kombai For Email can be launched through Figma community page or inside the Figma design. Our plugin works in both Design and Dev mode. Following are different ways you can launch the plugin:

From Figma Community Page

Follow the below steps to open Kombai For Email plugin through Figma community page:

  1. Search for Kombai in the Figma Community (opens in a new tab) page.
  2. Go to Kombai - HTML email code from ANY design in a click |Klaviyo, Email builder, Email template, Gmail under Plugins section.
  3. Click Open to... button and select the Figma file in which you want to run the plugin.
  4. Once the design and the plugin widget is loaded, click on Run.

From Figma File

If you have already loaded a Figma file, follow the below steps to open Kombai For Email plugin:

Design mode

Kombai For Email can be launched from the Resources section or Right Click menu options, in Design mode. Follow the below steps to launch the plugin:

Resources

  1. Go to Resources in Figma's top menu bar.
  2. Click Plugins and search for Kombai.
  3. Open Kombai - HTML email code from ANY design in a click |Klaviyo, Email builder, Email template, Gmail.

Right click on the canvas

  1. Right click on the canvas and go to Plugins.
  2. Select the Kombai plugin from Recents or Saved sections(if you have used the plugin recently or saved it before).
  3. Go to Manage plugins... and search for Kombai.
  4. Open Kombai - HTML email code from ANY design in a click |Klaviyo, Email builder, Email template, Gmail.

Dev Mode

Kombai For Email can be launched from the Resources section or Right Click menu options, in Dev mode. Follow the below steps to launch the plugin:

Resources

  1. Turn on the Dev mode in Figma.
  2. Go to Plugins.
  3. If you have recently opened the plugin or saved it before, it will appear in the Recents and saved section. You can open the plugin from here.
  4. If the plugin is not found in the Recents and saved, search for Kombai and open Kombai - HTML email code from ANY design in a click |Klaviyo, Email builder, Email template, Gmail.

Right click on the canvas

  1. Turn on the Dev mode in Figma.
  2. Right click on the canvas and go to Plugins.
  3. Select the Kombai plugin from Recents or Saved sections(if you have used the plugin recently or saved it before).
  4. Go to Manage plugins... and search for Kombai in the Plugins tab.
  5. Open Kombai - HTML email code from ANY design in a click |Klaviyo, Email builder, Email template, Gmail.

Save and Pin the Plugin

For quick access, you can save Kombai For Email plugin in Figma. Figma allows you to save the plugin in both Design and Dev mode. However, if you are in the Dev mode, you can also pin the plugin to top. Follow the below steps to learn how to save and pin the plugin:

Design mode

Follow the below steps to save the Kombai For Email plugin in Design mode:

Save the plugin

  1. Search for Kombai in the Plugins tab.
  2. Hover on Kombai - HTML email code from ANY design in a click |Klaviyo, Email builder, Email template, Gmail and click on the Save icon.

Dev mode

Follow the below steps to save the Kombai For Email plugin in Dev mode:

  1. Search for Kombai in the Plugins tab.
  2. Hover on Kombai - HTML email code from ANY design in a click |Klaviyo, Email builder, Email template, Gmail.
  3. Click on the three dots(...) and select Pin to top.
